Cylance Pro Cycling Team

We are Cylance Pro Cycling.

We are a group of women from the United States of America who are passionate about cycling, not only as a sport but also as a way of life.

Born out of the vision of Cylance and Inspire Sports, we will not be where we are right now without their ardent support. Cylance, a software firm based in Irvine, California, has been a respected name revolutionizing cybersecurity through its software utilizing artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies. Inspire Sports, on the other hand, is a company founded by Omar Kem, who himself was a road racing cyclist. They have a clear mission – to help people around the world live healthy lives and pursue their athletic goals. And that is exactly what they did to our team!

What makes our team distinct is that we know how to have fun. Sure, we are serious when we train. But we are proud to say that we live life to the fullest and laugh a lot. In fact, that is probably the reason why we have been successful. While we are competitive professionals, we always make it a point to enjoy every ride!Cylance Pro Cycling members with sponsor

While our group has a short run, this does not make us any less competent. From our establishment in 2016, we have been making major wins. Headed by Shelley Olds, Rossella Ratto, and Valentina Scandolara, we are proud to say that we made the most out of our time. Olds was a 2012 Olympian. Ratto, on the other hand, was a bronze medalist in the 2013 Road World Championships held in Florence, Italy. Scandolara, meanwhile, has won in several road races and sprints. We have members from other countries, such as Italy and Switzerland, which speaks of how diverse our team was.

Sponsors

We have also enjoyed the backing of some of the most trusted names in the industry. One of our most reputable sponsors was Cannondale Bicycle Corporation, the American division of a Canadian conglomerate.

Camaraderie is the cornerstone of Cylance Pro Cycling. Our team is not just racing when we are training or joining events. Rather, we are building a lifetime of friendship, even outside the trails. We lived by the mantra that there is strength in numbers, so we relied on each other for advice and inspiration.

Anyone who has been a part of our family will know one thing – once you are a Cylance Pro cyclist, you will always be a Cylance Pro cyclist. In our hearts, we will always be a part of a family. On and off the bike, we are happy to have gained life-long colleagues.

Elevating women in sports – this is what Cylance Pro Cycling has been doing from the very beginning. Even now that our era has reached its finish line, we are happy to have made valuable contributions to the sport. In the same way, the things that we learned from cycling and from our team will live within us forever!
