+ What inspired you to start bike riding/racing?

My love for riding my bicycle and seeing how far it could take me is what inspired me to start riding & racing.

+ What inspires you every day to get on your bike?

The sense of freedom and adventure I feel while trying to be the best cyclist I can possibly be inspires me to get on my bike every day.

+ What does inspire to achieve mean to you?

To me, inspire to achieve means aspiring to achieve a healthy lifestyle, which enables me to be the best I can be both on and off the bike.

+ How do you use data for your training and racing?

I use my heart rate as a reference to make sure I’m training in the right zones and my power numbers to see how the heart rate is correlating into my performance.

+ What does technology bring into bike racing?

Technology allows for more accurate training and better communication during races.

+ Did you like math and science in school?

I really enjoyed science but I never liked math.

+ If you have a college degree, (or currently in the process) what is it in?

I have a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and a concentration in Sports Marketing.

+ If you could do one thing with AI (artificial intelligence) besides fight malware, what would it be?

I would use AI to promote world peace and unity between nations.

My super power is my ability to teleport.

+ If you weren’t bike racing, what would you be doing?

If I was not bike racing, I would like to own a bakery or be working as a Physician Assistant.

+ What are your favorite pastimes and hobbies outside of bikes?

I really enjoy spending time with my seven chickens, hiking 14’ers in Colorado, cooking, and doing yoga.

+ What is your most memorable day on the bike?

My most memorable day on the bike was my first Cyclocross World Cup podium in Valkenburg, NL.

+ What is your favorite pre-race or post-race meal?

My favorite pre race meal is rice and eggs with soy sauce.

+ How long do you think you would last in a zombie apocalypse?

Not long at all.
