Krista Doebel-Hickok wins Hill Climb Championships; Carmen Small top ten at Tour of Norway — Cylance Pro Cycling

In a tremendous weekend for Cylance Pro Cycling, Krista Doebel-Hickok won the U.S. National Hill Climb Championship as Carmen Small placed top ten in UCI Ladies Tour of Norway.

For Doebel-Hickok, the hill climb victory was a sweet reward after a season that sustained injuries, including a broken collarbone.  The race traveled up Pike Peak where the start line is located at 9,390 ft and the finish line is 156 turns, 12.42 miles later, with an average grade of 7%, and a gain in altitude of 4,725 ft to conclude at 14,115 ft. Doebel-Hickok made the climb in 1h 25m, and took the pro women’s title, becoming Cylance Pro Cycling’s first United States national champion of the 2016 season.
