Cylance Pro Cycling Announces Ronde van Drenthe Roster

Cylance Pro Cycling heads to the cobbled roads of Netherlands for the next round of the UCI Women’s World Tour calendar, Ronde van Drenthe on March 11th.  The one day 138.3k classic consists is notable for it’s small roads, cobble sectors, and the 20% ascent of the Vamburg.  The following day, the team will race again on similar roads at Drentse Acht van Westerveld.

After a strong showing in the Spring Classics already, Cylance Pro Cycling will be bringing a solid and motivated squad to the startline.  Kirsten Wild (NED) and Willeke Knol (NED) will race on home roads and will use experience to make calculated efforts in the race.  Joining the Dutch riders will be Sheyla Guiterriez (ESP), Marta Tagliaferro (ITA), Joelle Numainville (CAN), and Rachele Barbieri (ITA).  

"The Drenthe races are spectacular and very special," said Director Sportif, Manel Lacambra. "They are long races with hard cobble sections, wind, narrow roads, and the infamous Vamberg climb. We will try to do our best to fight against the top teams in the World and play our cards to achieve a good result ."
