Tour of Chongming Island
Cylance Pro Cycling is heading to the next UCI Women’s World Tour race, the Tour of Chongming Island. Located outside of Shanghai, Chongming Island is an oasis of greenery and a great backdrop for fast world class bike racing. The Tour of Chongming consists of three days relatively flat and furious days that are typically dictated to finish in a sprint.
Kirsten Wild (NED) will be returning to familiar territory as she leads Cylance Pro Cycling into the three stage tour. Wild won the overall of the Tour of Chongming island in 2014 and 2015. Supporting Wild will be recently reigned UCI Women’s Scratch Race World Champion, Rachele Barbieri (ITA) and lead out specialist, Marta Tagliaferro (ITA). Sheyla Gutierrez (ESP), Erica Zaveta (USA), and Willeke Knol (NED) will complete the lineup with added depth and tenacity.
“The team has shown it is ready to compete and do our best for the win. We always like to race the Tour of Chongming Island” says Manel Lacambra. “Rachele and Kirsten are coming back from the track and it is nice to have the team together for this race.”
With the firepower and experience to enter the race with confidence, Cylance Pro Cycling is ready to continue the successful season into China.

Redlands Bicycle Classic
The men of Cylance Pro Cycling will race the Redlands Bicycle Classic. After a podium sweep at the Dana Point Grand Prix, the team will compete at this next Pro Road Tour event looking for continued victories.
The Redlands Bicycle Classic is a five day race with conditions and terrain to offer plenty of opportunity for the riders. Stage 1 is a technical and fast 7.1 mile time trial to start an immediate general classification order. Stage 2 will then offer an even larger shakeup as the cyclists will complete a challenging circuit before cresting a mountain top finish at Oak Glen at just shy of 100 miles. The next two stages are back to the explosive power and fast laps with the Highland Circuit Race and the famous City of Redlands criterium. The final stage, the Sunset Road Race, is notorious for its unrelenting course that tests the legs and mind of the riders.
Cylance Pro Cycling will bring a strong and diverse team to the Redlands Bicycle Classic. The team is excited to have Bryan Lewis (USA) return to racing following a crash at the Chico Stage Race earlier this year. Kyle Murphy (USA) has already shown his climbing and time trial abilities, and the team will look to him to continue his consistency. Murphy will be supported by Orlando Garibay (MEX), Hunter Grove (USA) and Andres Diaz (COL) who have shown their climbing and overall strengths for any race situation. Karl Menzies (AUS) and Eric Marcotte (USA) are both capable to look for opportunities for a stage win as well as use experience to lead the team. Scott Law (AUS) will be a great addition to the final roster for sprinting opportunities.
“I’m really excited for the Redlands Bicycle Classic” says Hunter Grove. “The squad is really hitting our stride after spending some time at elevation to prepare. The new format of the stages will make for an exciting race, with more attacks and opportunities. It will be a great week, and we are so happy Bryan Lewis is back racing with us!”
Follow the team along during the week as they #bringthegreen in sunny Southern California!
