Building on the success of its inaugural year, Cylance Pro Cycling is pleased to announce the addition of former British Olympian and World Champion, Dani King to the 2017 roster.
At just 25, King has already been a 3x World Champion and 2012 Olympic gold medalist in the team pursuit, as well as National Champion in the individual pursuit. At the London Olympics in 2012, King set a world record with Great Britain’s team pursuit squad. Because of her services to cycling, King was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire and given the Freedom of the Borough of Eastleigh in 2013. In 2014 King shifted her focus to road racing, not only showing incredible promise, but has also become known for being an invaluable teammate with a determined work ethic. In 2016, King won the London Red Hook Criterium and the QOM jersey at the Santos Tour Down Under. King demonstrated consistently throughout the year her versatility and ability to perform under pressure.
"King rode at a high level the whole season and showed her talent. Her track curriculum is great and we believe she will continue to improve with more opportunities down the road. We will see her succeed even more.” says Manel Lacambra, Director Sportif of Cylance Pro Cycling women’s team. In joining Cylance Pro Cycling, King will continue to expand her potential while adding to the depth of the team.
Already having accomplished so much in her cycling career, Cylance Pro Cycling is proud to give King the opportunity to continue to make an impact and inspire people worldwide. Cylance Pro Cycling is dedicated to building a successful women’s cycling team that can be role models and inspire others to achieve.
