The La Flèche Wallonne, known to many as the Walloon Arrow, marks the sixth round of the Women's World Tour taking place on April 20th in Wallonia, Belgium.
Lining up for Cylance Pro Cycling will be Rossella Ratto (ITA), Sheyla Gutierrez (ESP), Alison Tetrick (USA), Valentina Scandolara (ITA), Krista Doebel-Hickock (USA), and Doris Schweizer (SUI).
Coming off a successful campaign in the Basque country where the team took several podiums and the overall QOM jersey with Doris Schweizer in the Emakumeen Bira stage race, Cylance Pro Cycling is bringing a squad aiming for success.
Looking to continue her comeback and carrying great form, Krista Doebel-Hickock is certain to play a factor in the WorldTour Race. “It is great to be back and learning from my teammates at every race,” She said. “I'm excited to see what we can do at my first Fleche Wollonne!”
The top 20 women's teams in the world will compete in the 19th edition of La Flèche Wallonne, including RaboLiv's defending champion Anna van der Breggen and Boels Dolmans's current world champion and WorldTour leader Lizzie Armitstead. This year's edition will take the women on a 137km trek beginning and ending on the infamous Mur de Huy. It will boast 12 climbs, including the Mur de Huy at a maximum grade at over 19% gradient boasting its impressive “S" which has now been named “the Claudy Criquielion" bend.
